WinVivo Won National Awards Again for Corporate Identity & Package Design

Silicon Valley, CALIFORNIA – March 25, 2013

In 2011, following its winning of the American Package Design Award for the WinVivo Healing Balm in August, WinVivo has just won two other prestigious awards given by Graphic Design US: American Graphic Design Award for the design of corporate identity, and American Package Design Award for the design of the packages of 3 healthcare products, Botano Guard™, Botano Throat™, and Immune Rebalancer™.

WinVivo’s distinctive company logo, a classic medicinal peony plant circled against an aged bronze-gold background, makes an appealing brand statement of holistic natural health care based on time-tested botanical medicines. It conveys the concept of “East Meets West”—blending eastern traditional medicinal botanicals into a western, modern naturalistic background. The package design of the 3 health products further reflects WinVivo’s innovative approaches of harnessing the synergistic healing powers of botanicals to treat root causes of chronic health problems systemically.

WinVivo’s chief brand and package designer is still the award winning designer, Joan Hausman of Hausman Design. Ms. Hausman, trained as a nutritional scientist early in her career, identifies with WinVivo’s health philosophy and has designed the WinVivo brand including its corporate visual identity/business system, and the family of product packaging. This time, Ms. Hausman is particularly gratified to see that the joint creative efforts made by her firm and WinVivo have paid off: All of her designs for WinVivo entering the contests held by Graphic Design US in 2011 have won awards.

For nearly five decades, Graphic Design USA has sponsored national design competitions that spotlight areas of excellence and opportunity for creative professionals. The American Package Design Awards represent the fastest growing portion of the competitions. The judges look for well-designed graphics, and emphasize the power of design to advance the brand promise and forge an emotional link with the buyer at the moment of truth.
