Avid Mountain Climber’s First Aid Kit
In July 2011, we had a 21-day Environmental Expedition on Cordillera Blanca, the highest mountain in Peru. We were living and working at elevations over 13,000 feet and climbing to over 20,000 feet.
One of the biggest challenges at such high altitudes, besides just breathing and staying generally healthy, is to keep your throat healthy. Most of us usually wind up with a very dry sore throat and dry coughs. On this expedition I was taking the Botano Throat lozenges quite continuously. Painful Post-Delivery Perineal Tears
I had some minor but painful perineal tears after the delivery of my first baby. My cousin in California got me well prepared for this day as she is a mother of 3 children. Upon her recommendation I bought WINVIVO Wound Ointment before the due date and used the Ointment right afterwards. With the balm applied to the wounds, not only it had stopped the pain almost instantly, but also accelerated the healing process. I felt that I had recovered from the tears within a couple of days after the delivery.
I have used it around my baby’s mouth for some birth rash because my cousin has so much experience dealing with baby issues and she uses the Ointment on her kids as well. Rapid Healing of a Diabetic’s Surgical Wound on the Big Toe
About 40 years ago I had a car accident, where my left big toenail was crushed. Recently a podiatrist removed the crooked nail all together with its root, then she applied some acid over and instructed me to soak the toe in salt water twice a day for 20 minutes until the wound stops draining a clear liquid. I was doing it for 3 weeks religiously, but the wound was still not closed and even started to have some green puss.
When I heard about the WINVIVO Wound Ointment, I immediately applied a good dub of it over the toe, changed the dressing once a day after taking a shower. Only 3 days later all the puss and redness were gone, and the wound healed!

Whole-Body Eczema
I have had eczema all over my body for 26 years and always depended on steroids to keep my outbreaks in control. The problem with taking steroids is that my eczema always came back, and sometimes it seemed as if it came back with a vengeance! For the last 10 years I have been looking for alternatives to help alleviate my symptoms, and have tried many different herbal remedies offered in natural product stores and from herbal doctors. Unfortunately none of them gave me any significant relief, and I had to get back onto my “steroid treadmill.”

Interestingly I found that taking the Botano Guard capsules 2-4 a day can gave my whole body eczema a real relief, perhaps due to the systemic anti-inflammatory effects of the botanicals in the capsules? This summer I could actually sleep through the hot nights without scratching myself bloody all over the body! Now I can finally see the real healthy, supple skin of my neck gradually revealed after being covered by those leathery, ugly scales for so many years.

Herpes, Shingles
I broke out in a rash. Before the diagnosis, I tried a number of rash remedies, to no avail. Then it was diagnosed as "shingles," which is a resurgence of the chicken pox virus that never totally leaves our bodies. It apparently comes active again when we are under stress. My Giant Cold Sore Gone in 2 Days
I was under a lot of stress, and I got a huge cold sore on the side of my lip. Being a sales person, I see a lot of people every day so it was important for me to have it healed quickly. My Baby’s Canker Sore Healed
My 4 year-old son had fever and he wasn’t eating anything. He complained his mouth was hurting. After looking inside his mouth I found a big sore.
I had heard through a friend that the WINVIVO Wound Ointment could be used inside the mouth as well, so I decided to try on my son.
